Coder partners with GlobalLogic on AI development
Coder and GlobalLogic announced a strategic partnership to bring agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities to enterprise development teams around the world and to provide secure, scalable infrastructure for AI-assisted software delivery.
The announcement described plans to target Global 2000 organizations and emphasized modernizing software delivery to allow developers and AI agents to work side by side while preserving visibility, control, and compliance.
Coder described moving AI-powered development from unmanaged local environments into secure, self-hosted, auditable cloud workspaces to support human development, human-plus-coding assists, autonomous background coding agents, and multi-agent orchestration at enterprise scale.
The announcement described the partnership as pairing GlobalLogic’s enterprise transformation expertise with Coder’s development environments designed for AI coding workflows, and it noted that the news followed Coder’s recent platform update that introduced agent-aware controls and expanded enterprise support for AI-assisted workflows.
“For AI to deliver real value in software development, it needs to run in environments with access to real tools, real code, and real developers. It requires balancing security with productivity,” said Rob Whiteley, CEO of Coder. “This partnership is about enabling that shift incrementally—not in years, but right now. GlobalLogic brings the reach and expertise to help enterprises scale safely and quickly.”
The companies said the partnership would initially focus on GlobalLogic clients in regulated industries with high developer counts and hybrid cloud architectures, and would aim to help Global 2000 organizations move AI-assisted development from experimentation into production-ready, auditable, and governed workflows that enabled developers and AI agents to operate side by side with controls for security, productivity, and scale.
