CNCF adds 17 new Silver Members to support cloud native initiatives.
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) announced the addition of 17 new Silver Members, reinforcing its global community and promoting cloud native software across various industries. The announcement was made during the Open Source Summit held in Denver.
New Silver Members receive benefits estimated at $198,500 annually, including enhanced brand visibility and participation in shaping the cloud native ecosystem through marketing channels, training opportunities, and active involvement in working groups. This membership tier is targeted at organizations looking to strengthen their influence and presence within the open source community.
“We are excited to welcome the newest members to the CNCF community,” said Chris Aniszczyk, CTO of CNCF. “Their participation underscores the vital role open source and cloud native technologies play in driving innovation across industries and regions.” The new members cover a range of capabilities, including observability platforms and cloud infrastructure, emphasizing the collaborative nature of open source within the evolving tech landscape.
The newly joined organizations include a mix of startups and established firms, each contributing unique expertise. Among them are Arcfra, which provides a full-stack platform for Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, and Guidewire, a significant player in insurance technology. By joining CNCF, these companies aim to leverage collective knowledge in advancing cloud-based solutions.
As CNCF continues to support its members, it will host events such as the upcoming KubeCon + CloudNativeCon focused on fostering cloud-native adoption and collaboration globally.
