Cloudera Data Services Launches Generative AI Solutions

Cloudera announced the release of Cloudera Data Services, enabling organizations to run Artificial Intelligence (AI) securely within their data centers. This update allows enterprises to deploy Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities behind their firewall while ensuring data security and compliance.

The release includes tools such as the Cloudera AI Inference Service and AI Studios, which address challenges in AI adoption across various industries. According to research, 77% of organizations lack essential data security practices, which hinders their ability to fully implement AI solutions. Cloudera aims to reduce the time for enterprises to move from prototype to production.

By introducing these capabilities on-premises (on-prem), Cloudera seeks to enhance productivity for data teams and streamline AI Operations (AIOps). Companies adopting Cloudera Data Services reportedly experienced an 80% faster time-to-value for workload deployment and a 20% increase in productivity. Organizations can leverage a cloud-native experience without compromising security or control, allowing for scalable and efficient AI solutions.

Sanjeev Mohan, an industry analyst, highlighted the need for streamlined AI solutions to address security concerns. Cloudera's offerings focus on making AI more accessible, emphasizing the importance of both agility and protection when managing sensitive data.

Cloudera's Chief Product Officer LEO Constellation (Low Earth Orbit) (LEO) Brunnick stated that the release is a step forward in data modernization, allowing organizations to move from traditional systems to agile, containerized applications. This product is being demonstrated at the EVOLVE25 conference in Singapore, showcasing the company's commitment to providing reliable data services.
