Cloudbrink introduced OnGuard technology to expand a single security and connectivity policy across users, devices, and machines. The company described the approach as a way to address complex multi-product security stacks that require multiple policies, licenses, and consoles.
Cloudbrink said OnGuard extends a Cloudbrink security and connectivity policy beyond user sessions to start when the device comes online, and continue independently of the user session. The company also described its deployment approach as building on Cloudbrink deployments that replaced legacy Cisco remote-access infrastructure.
OnGuard includes centralized visibility into user and machine activity on a single console, selective policy control for machine tunnels, and administrative controls for policy enforcement and tunnel management. Cloudbrink said it supports separate secure overlay tunnels available as soon as a machine comes online, with optional admin authorization before policy enforcement and the ability to block or terminate machine tunnels.
Cloudbrink said OnGuard enables a single configuration for ZTNA, QOE, SWG, AI Security, multi-cloud connectivity, and digital experience monitoring, and extends QOE and security controls to devices, machines, and apps in addition to users.
