Certes and Carahsoft partner to enhance government cybersecurity solutions

Certes and Carahsoft Technology Corp. formed a partnership to provide advanced data protection solutions to government agencies. This collaboration allows Carahsoft to serve as Certes’ Master Government Aggregator, enabling access to Certes’ Data Protection and Risk Mitigation (DPRM) solution through a variety of government procurement contracts. Certes’ DPRM solution addresses current cybersecurity challenges by shifting from traditional perimeter defenses to focusing on securing data itself. The approach is designed with the understanding that breaches may occur, with features such as quantum-safe data encryption, policy-based access controls, and data segmentation that comply with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards. This partnership aims to enhance the data security posture of government agencies against evolving cyber threats. Using Certes’ DPRM solution, organizations can align with Zero Trust security initiatives, helping to protect sensitive information from ransomware and advanced cyberattacks. Leaders from both organizations expressed support for this alignment, emphasizing the urgency of adopting new security measures.
