Celestica integrates Aviz Networks' ONES into Ethernet switches for SONiC network management

Celestica incorporated Aviz Networks' ONES software stack into its Ethernet switches, aiming to provide a network solution equipped for managing open-source cloud networks.

The integration supports Software for Open Networking in the Cloud (SONiC) environments, emphasizing compatibility with existing data center, edge, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) fabric networks using Remote Direct Memory Access (DMA) (RDMA) over Converged Ethernet (RoCE). This setup includes continual service offerings such as 24/7 customer support with a 30-minute Service Level Agreement (SLA) response.

Aviz Networks developed its Networking 3.0 stack to function as a vendor-agnostic framework supporting diverse application requirements like large language models, AI, and security, across multiple ASICs, switches, and cloud environments. Its approach facilitates interoperability within multi-vendor network ecosystems without imposing restrictions on choice or control.

The partnership involved Celestica designing Ethernet switches compatible with Aviz Networks' software suite, including ONES and the newly introduced Network Copilot Generative AI (GenAI) management tool. This collaboration focuses on combining Celestica's hardware capabilities with Aviz's software solutions to address networking needs effectively.
