Carahsoft authorized as Cisco Public Sector distributor

Carahsoft Technology Corp. became an authorized distributor for Cisco’s Public Sector solutions across the U.S. and Canada. The agreement capitalizes on Carahsoft’s two decades of experience in Government IT, enabling its reseller partners to provide Cisco’s entire technology portfolio through established contract vehicles and support programs.

Shannon Leininger, Vice President of Global Partner Sales at Cisco, highlighted the importance of distributors in their go-to-market strategy. “We’re excited to welcome Carahsoft into our network,” she said, recognizing their expertise in Public Sector and success with Splunk as factors that could foster mutual growth.

The partnership enhances Carahsoft's network by integrating Cisco's networking, security, and collaboration solutions. It allows partners to bundle Cisco technologies with other solutions to meet Government requirements effectively while leveraging Carahsoft’s vast experience and existing programs aimed at boosting partner performance.

Rebecca Brennan, Sales Director for the Cisco group at Carahsoft, stated that the partnership expands offerings to resellers and Government clients. “Our partners can now gain access to Cisco's full portfolio while benefiting from our two decades of Government market experience,” she said, indicating a commitment to driving partner growth.
