Aviz Networks integrates ONES with NVIDIA Spectrum-X for AI network management
Aviz Networks extended its Open Networking Enterprise Suite (ONES) to incorporate support for NVIDIA Spectrum-X, integrating flexible management and AI-enhanced network operations.
The integration addresses operational needs for networks where Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads require reliable, high-performance fabric management. ONES automates the setup of lossless networks and gathers detailed telemetry data necessary for Spectrum-X's congestion control, aiming to maintain consistent Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) resource usage across AI computing tasks.
NVIDIA Spectrum-X provides capabilities that manage the AI network fabric through all lifecycle stages, from initial planning and deployment to ongoing operational phases. The suite links network management with GPU performance, facilitating predictable and scalable AI workload execution.
Together, Aviz ONES and NVIDIA Spectrum-X are designed to support enterprises deploying AI-oriented network fabrics by automating provisioning and delivering comprehensive monitoring to optimize network performance.
Thomas Scheibe, chief product officer at Aviz Networks, said, “AI workloads demand lossless, high-performance networking at scale, and our collaboration with NVIDIA enables enterprises to plan, deploy and monitor AI-ready fabrics with unparalleled efficiency.” Gilad Shainer, senior vice president of networking at NVIDIA, said, “Lightning-fast transformation in groundbreaking technologies such as agentic AI highlight how crucial it is for every business to prioritize networking innovation to gain an edge. The NVIDIA Spectrum-X networking platform enables innovators like Aviz to provide an Ethernet-based multi-tenant AI networking solution that maximizes GPU performance while simplifying operations for enterprises.”
The combined Aviz ONES and NVIDIA Spectrum-X solution was set to be presented at the NVIDIA GTC conference.
