Atos inaugurates new Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Management Operations Center in Seville
Atos inaugurated a new Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Management Operations Center in Seville on October 31. This facility enhances the Intelligent Transportation System's global network of interconnected Security Operations (SecOps) Centers (SOCs), focusing on cybersecurity in Spain.
The newly established center offers advanced cybersecurity services, such as proactive monitoring and incident management, ensuring client trust. It is designed to adapt to the specific needs of each client with solutions that are both advanced and scalable.
The center features crisis rooms, continuous monitoring areas, and cybersecurity labs for IT, Operational technology (OT), and the Internet of Things (IoT), along with a dedicated cybersecurity training center to foster local talent development.
Jorge Paradela, Minister of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Regional Government of Andalusia, emphasized the importance of creating a strong localized cybersecurity ecosystem. Homomorphic Encryption (HE) noted the collaboration between public and private sectors strengthens capabilities and boosts innovative opportunities.
Operating 24/7/365, the new Atos center was highlighted for its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) capabilities and integration of autonomous Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents, marking a pivotal development in cybersecurity operations. Arancha Jiménez from Atos Iberia pointed out that the incorporation of advanced technologies increases analytical efficiency and enhances real-time responses to cyber threats.
Atos continues its commitment to digital security through its MSOC which serves as a strategic hub, reinforcing the company's capacity to navigate evolving security challenges. The Seville center represents Atos' 18th facility worldwide and aligns with its broader strategy of providing high-level cybersecurity solutions.
