ASUS Expands AI Infrastructure Ecosystem With Intel and AMD

ASUS used AI Tech 2026 to outline an expansion of its AI infrastructure ecosystem through collaborations with Intel and AMD and other technology partners. The company positioned the update around moving AI workloads across computing environments, including cloud and edge systems.

In the event materials, ASUS described Intel- and AMD-powered infrastructure for deploying diverse AI workloads across computing environments. It also addressed a use case for edge computing where data is processed locally rather than sent to cloud systems, citing sensitivity of information such as patient records, production data, and video footage and referencing compliance needs in industrial and healthcare environments.

ASUS said its server lineup included the ASUS RS700-E12-RS4U and ASUS RS720-E12-RS12U, powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors, and the XA P8I-E13A, a 6U system with the Intel Xeon Next-Gen processor platform for GPU acceleration. For AMD-powered solutions, it listed RS720A-E14B-R32U, RS500A-E14B-R12U, and ESC8000A-E13P, which it said used AMD EPYC 9006 Series CPUs and AMD Instinct MI350P PCIe accelerators.

The company also described an industrial edge approach through the ASUS Industrial Edge Server, including the new RUC-2000 series embedded computer powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with up to 180 AI TOPS. ASUS said the embedded system was intended for machine vision, video analytics, and in-vehicle AI applications, while it described rugged requirements for industrial edge hardware including operation across wide temperature and voltage ranges and ESD protection. “ASUS today announced the expansion of its AI infrastructure ecosystem through strategic collaborations with Intel®, AMD, and a broader network of technology partners including Aleria, Foxlink, IBM, Samsung, Schneider Electric, and WD.”

ASUS also stated that servers are available worldwide, while availability of certain other products depends on local regulatory requirements.
