ASUS has made the ExpertBook A7 (A7406CMA), a thin and light business laptop, available for purchase in the United States. The model is intended for professionals who need a mobile device that supports work in multiple locations.
The A Series joins the existing ExpertBook B and P series and the ExpertBook Ultra in ASUS's commercial laptop family. ASUS describes the new lineup as combining mobility with performance for professionals who need to stay productive in any workspace.
The chassis is CNC-milled from a single block of 6000-series aluminum alloy and weighs from 2.8 pounds. The 14-inch 3K OLED display runs at 120Hz, and the laptop includes a 65Wh battery. Configurations offer up to an Intel Core 7 processor, 16GB LPDDR5X memory, and 512GB PCIe SSD storage. Security features include NIST SP 800-193-compliant BIOS protection and a discrete TPM 2.0 chip.
The ExpertBook A7 (A7406CMA) with the Intel Core 5 processor 320 starts at $1,299.99 and is available in the United States from October 14 through the ASUS Store. Additional configurations, including models with the Intel Core 7 processor 350 and AMD Ryzen AI, will also be available. ASUS states the device meets MIL-STD-810H standards and undergoes in-house durability testing in 24 categories.
“With ExpertBook A7, we focused on the parts of a business laptop professionals interact with every day,” said Shawn Chang, General Manager at ASUS North America. “Its precision-milled aluminum chassis, 3K OLED display, haptic touchpad, and 2.8 pound design bring a premium mobile experience to a broader range of professionals, backed by the security and support professionals expect.”
The ExpertBook A7 lineup is scheduled to expand in January 2027 with configurations starting at $899, and local ASUS representatives can provide further information.
