Aspire Yield provides investment access for SMEs in Singapore

Aspire introduced Aspire Yield, a new investment solution designed for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore, facilitating access to institutional-grade investment returns with immediate liquidity and no minimum investment requirements.

The initiative followed AFT Signal Generator (SG) 2 Predictive Twin Engine (PTE) Ltd, a subsidiary of the Aspire Group, obtaining its Capital Markets Services License from the Monetary Authority of Singapore in April 2025. This license allows the company to offer investment solutions within a regulated framework. Aspire partnered with Fullerton Fund Management to provide investment options in both Singapore and US dollars.

Historically, SMEs faced challenges in accessing competitive investment opportunities due to high minimums and complexity. With Aspire Yield, SMEs can earn returns of up to 2.04% for Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) investments and 3.88% for USD investments, a marked improvement compared to traditional savings rates, which typically range from 0.01% to 0.25% per annum.

Data from early users indicates that approximately 55% of the capital invested through Aspire Yield had previously remained idle in low-yield business accounts. “That’s a staggering statistic,” said Andrea Baronchelli, CEO and co-founder of Aspire. “Aspire Yield gives every eligible Singapore business access to high-quality money market funds.”

Mark Yuen, Chief Business Development Officer at Fullerton Fund Management, emphasized that SMEs constitute the backbone of Singapore’s economy and have historically faced barriers in accessing institutional-quality investment solutions. The partnership is intended to level the playing field for these businesses.

Aspire Yield requires no minimum investments and provides next business day liquidity, offering businesses the flexibility to withdraw funds as needed without lengthy lock-up periods. “Aspire Yield is refreshingly simple,” remarked Bhavana Ravindran, CEO of Earlybird Artificial Intelligence (AI), which utilizes Aspire Yield for its business funds.

Damien Passavent, Chief Product Officer at Aspire, noted the design of Aspire Yield aims to align with the operational needs of modern businesses, allowing capital to be productive while maintaining flexibility for operational demands.
