Within the Arctic Wolf Portal, a new capability called SwarmView gives customers visibility into how AI-driven security investigations are carried out. Arctic Wolf, a cybersecurity and AI company, introduced SwarmView at the 2026 Security Operations Summit, where it showed how AI agents and human experts work together during each investigation.
Modern attacks move faster than human teams can track, and organizations increasingly depend on AI to make security decisions. Adoption, however, depends on trust. According to the SANS 2026 AI Survey, 40% of security leaders cite transparency and trust in AI decisions as their top AI integration challenge. Until now, most of the decision process has taken place out of view.
SwarmView provides access to the Swarm of Experts framework, a patent-pending framework that Arctic Wolf introduced earlier this year. The framework pairs a large team of specialized AI agents with experienced Arctic Wolf security analysts. It serves as the operational engine behind the Aurora Agentic SOC, which investigates, validates, and responds to threats at machine speed.
Within SwarmView, customers can follow an investigation from the first signal to the final conclusion and see which agents contributed to each step. The capability also shows events and actions at each stage of the defense chain, the environment-specific customer context used in decisions, and the point at which a human expert took over a decision, along with the reason for that handoff.
“Organizations rely on AI for critical decisions but they can’t trust in those decisions without transparency,” said Nick Schneider, president and chief executive officer at Arctic Wolf. “For too long, security teams have been asked to trust outcomes without understanding how those outcomes were reached. SwarmView changes that. We're giving customers direct visibility into the people, agents, decisions, and actions behind investigations, setting a new standard for accountability and trust in AI-powered security operations.”
SwarmView is planned as a beta in the Arctic Wolf Portal for select customers beginning in fall 2026, and timing, features, and functionality may change.
