Atos supported UEFA Under21 Championship 2025
Atos supported the UEFA Under21 Championship 2025, held in Slovakia from June 11 to June 28, as the Official Information Technology Partner. The tournament featured 16 teams and included 31 matches across eight cities.
The company provided various IT services, including event management systems for accreditation and access control, a mobile app for fan engagement with gaming features, and end-to-end cybersecurity services. This partnership builds on Atos's ongoing collaboration with UEFA since 2022.
This championship set attendance records, drawing a total of 244,866 spectators, with the final match attracting over 18,000 fans in Bratislava. The event also recorded high television viewership, surpassing 100 million viewers worldwide.
Atos utilized data collection techniques, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) analysis, to enhance coaches' understanding of player development and evolving game strategies. Nacho Moros, Head of Atos Major Events, stated, “We feel privileged to have witnessed first-hand the emergence of the next football stars at the UEFA Under21 Championship in Slovakia.” This event also served as a qualifier for the men’s tournament at the Olympic Games.
In addition to this championship, Atos has played a role in major events such as the UEFA EURO 2024 and UEFA Nations League Finals 2025. For over 30 years, the company has catered to sports and major events, ensuring robust technology support for a variety of competitions.
