Accelsius introduces NeuGuard: An enterprise-grade support program for data center liquid cooling

Accelsius has launched NeuGuard, a support program aimed at enhancing cooling reliability for data center utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High performance computing (HPC). This initiative seeks to address the challenges of maintaining system uptime in environments where advanced computing is critical.

NeuGuard is built on the foundation of the NeuCool liquid cooling system and offers a comprehensive warranty program underwritten by Converged Network Adapter (CNA), a prominent U.S. commercial insurance company. The warranty includes coverage for specific internal server damage, providing added assurance to data center operators.

Josh Claman, CEO of Accelsius, noted that operators face significant financial losses during outages, stating, “NeuGuard is designed to protect these substantial investments while maximizing system uptime and providing professional, timely, and accurate support.” According to a recent Uptime Institute survey, over half of data center executives reported outages costing more than $100,000, with 16% indicating losses exceeding $1 million.

Additionally, NeuGuard provides coverage for internal damage up to $100,000 per rack resulting from leaks in the cooling system, emphasizing Accelsius’ commitment to ensuring reliability in its offerings. Jeff Manuel, Vice President of Underwriting for CNA Warranty, stated, “Protecting critical computing infrastructure is more important than ever,” highlighting the partnership between Accelsius and CNA to meet the industry’s evolving demands.

The NeuGuard program utilizes industrial-grade components within the NeuCool system, featuring redundancies that ensure continuous operation, even during maintenance. This design allows for minimal intervention from certified HVAC technicians, allowing on-site staff to conduct most service operations, reducing both costs and potential downtime.

Accelsius also collaborates with a network of Authorized Service Partners (ASPs) to provide expert support throughout the lifecycle of its cooling solutions. NeuGuard offers a range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of data center operators, ensuring that clients can access relevant and cost-effective support.

Following extensive testing, Accelsius is now introducing server-level warranties for leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), reinforcing comprehensive client coverage alongside the NeuGuard program.
