Acceldata launches adaptive AI anomaly detection capability

Acceldata has introduced its Adaptive Artificial Intelligence (AI) Anomaly Detection capability, part of the xLake Reasoning Engine, aimed at identifying and resolving complex data anomalies autonomously. This new solution enhances data quality and operational efficiency by detecting hidden anomalies across multiple data dimensions.

Traditional tools tend to focus on one-dimensional errors. Acceldata's Adaptive AI goes beyond this by uncovering multi-dimensional anomalies, which significantly reduces the time spent on manual analysis—from weeks to minutes. The integration of this capability is expected to improve clarity in anomaly detection, bringing insights to the business level.

“With Adaptive AI Anomaly Detection integrated into our xLake Reasoning Engine, Acceldata is pioneering the future with agentic data management,” said Rohit Choudhary, CEO of Acceldata. He noted that the capability empowers enterprises to identify hidden patterns and risks often overlooked by conventional methods, potentially preventing significant business impacts.

The key features include multi-dimensional detection that evaluates various data attributes, intelligent sampling that optimizes data processing, and autonomous pattern recognition that adapts continuously. Acceldata emphasizes that these features allow organizations to manage data anomalies more effectively.

According to Gartner, data quality issues can cost enterprises up to $15 million annually, while existing tools detect less than a third of such anomalies. Acceldata’s new capability allows for autonomous detection and remediation, streamlining the process of addressing data issues and improving operational agility.

Additionally, Adaptive AI Anomaly Detection facilitates Agentic Data Management use cases, such as enhancing data quality, identifying root causes of issues, and providing business impact forecasting. The capability is positioned to address complex interdependencies often missed by traditional anomaly detection tools.

To further discuss the implications of this technology, Acceldata will host the Autonomous 25 user conference, where industry leaders will converge to explore advancements in agentic AI.
