Zscaler Launches Enhancements to ZDX for Improved Issue Resolution
Zscaler, Intelligent Network Controller (INC). launched new enhancements to its Zscaler Digital Experience™ (ZDX™) platform aimed at improving workforce productivity. These updates enable enterprises to monitor performance issues and resolve them faster, achieving real-time insights that reduce issue detection time by 98% and resolution to mere minutes.
Resolving user issues often involves complex troubleshooting, particularly when isolating the source—device, network, or application—can be difficult. Experts estimate that unresolved digital downtime leads to annual losses of $400 billion. The new features of ZDX enhance incident detection and remedy processes while adhering to Zero Trust principles.
The enhancements include:
- Network Intelligence: This feature identifies bottlenecks with Internet Service Providers (ISP) (ISPs) and allows organizations to reroute traffic to minimize disruptions and enhance connectivity.
- Zscaler Managed Monitoring: This tool monitors Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and custom applications, helping identify issues proactively while ensuring compliance with service agreements.
- Device Health Score, System Events, and Remediation: These tools furnish comprehensive visibility into device performance, enabling proactive management of widespread issues to minimize user disruptions.
Dhawal Sharma, EVP of Products at Zscaler, noted, “ISP disruptions, like the recent Red Sea cable cuts, cause significant outages for businesses and end users alike. These innovations give enterprises end-to-end visibility and control to keep users productive, resolve issues in minutes instead of days, and ensure reliable app experiences globally.”
Zeus Kerravala, Principal Analyst at ZK Research, remarked on the market shift towards unified security and networking platforms, stating, “Zscaler is well-positioned in this transition to meet these demands, leveraging its globally distributed, multi-tenant cloud to consolidate functions and deliver end-to-end visibility.”
