Varonis Systems adds Claude Compliance API integration to Atlas AI Security Platform

Varonis Systems, Inc. said its Atlas AI Security Platform added an integration with the Claude Compliance API. The update is intended to give security and governance teams visibility and alerting coverage for activity tied to Claude Enterprise and Claude Platform.

According to the company, Atlas is used to monitor AI usage across organizations and alert on misuse. It described two usage paths for that monitoring: employees using Claude Enterprise for knowledge work and analysis, and development teams using Claude Platform to build AI-powered applications and agents.

Varonis said the Claude Compliance API integration brings Claude Enterprise and Claude Platform activity into Atlas. It further stated Atlas ingests Claude Enterprise activity and administrative events, and that the platform connects AI activity to underlying data, including what is sensitive, who has access, and whether that access is appropriate.

Varonis outlined capabilities enabled by the integration for Atlas, including monitoring conversational content such as chats, uploaded files, and projects, detecting anomalies and misuse in real time, and maintaining audit records. For Claude Platform, it said Atlas can monitor assistants and agents created with Claude Platform, store audit events and generate real-time alerts on risky behavior, and stress-test assistants and agents for vulnerabilities, including prompt injection.

The Claude Compliance API integration became available today, and the company said organizations can begin with a free trial with full access to Atlas AI inventory, posture management, security testing, runtime guardrails, and compliance reporting functionality.
