Vanta introduces new features to enhance collaboration and compliance for security teams
Vanta has announced new features designed to improve collaboration among security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) teams. These include team-based collaboration, granular user access, and Vanta Exchange for vendor security reviews. The updates aim to reduce manual processes and help organizations better manage compliance.
The announcements are part of the virtual launch event, Vanta Delivers, occurring today. Vanta will also showcase these features at the Runtime Security Agent (RSA) Conference from April 28 to May 1 in San Francisco.
With increasing demands from customers, investors, and suppliers for proof of compliance, the new features enable organizations to enhance communication and accountability. Vanta's Chief Product Officer, Jeremy Epling, emphasized the need for security teams to focus on building trust rather than managing workflows.
The updated capabilities allow users to create teams for specific departments, set custom access permissions, and streamline task delegation. The Vanta Exchange, set to launch in April 2025, will facilitate faster vendor security reviews by enhancing direct collaboration between security teams and third-party vendors.
Additionally, the new audit collaboration tools will help centralize management, enabling real-time collaboration with auditors while controlling the data shared. The enhancements also give auditors access to test source data, verifying the information behind Vanta’s automated tests.
Vanta's forthcoming Questionnaire Automation product will allow users to respond to various questionnaire formats, further automating the compliance process. These features collectively aim to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy in compliance efforts.
