Vanta announces new features to enhance collaboration and compliance management

Vanta has introduced several new features aimed at improving collaboration among security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) teams. Key updates include team-based collaboration and granular user access, enabling companies to manage security tasks collectively while maintaining necessary access controls. The updates facilitate streamlined delegation and clearer task ownership within teams such as engineering and HR. The company will also launch Vanta Exchange, expected in April 2025, which simplifies vendor security reviews by allowing direct collaboration between security teams and third-party vendors. This feature allows users to track progress, manage requests, and gain visibility into vendor statuses, thereby reducing bottlenecks in compliance validation processes. Additionally, Vanta has enhanced its audit tools to support improved collaboration with auditors by offering real-time data access while maintaining control over disclosed information. New automation for responding to security questionnaires in various formats, set to be available in May 2025, aims to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy for security and compliance teams. These features reflect Vanta’s strategy to support enterprises in maintaining compliance and building trust within their networks.
