Tencent Cloud recognized in Gartner® Market Guide for Data Lakehouse Platforms

Tencent Cloud’s Data Lake Compute (DLC) was included in Gartner’s Market Guide for Data Lakehouse Platforms, published on September 23. The report identified 22 vendors worldwide, indicating a trend towards lakehouse architecture for organizations upgrading their data systems.

Gartner stated that the combination of data lakes and data warehouses allowed enterprises to perform business intelligence and multiple applications, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), on a unified platform. The report reinforces the competitive landscape in the global lakehouse market.

Tencent Cloud’s Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) platform is built on a cloud native architecture, offering features such as auto scaling and performance optimization. This design aims to assist enterprises in effectively integrating and utilizing data while simplifying system complexity.

Practical implementations have demonstrated benefits in data analysis and modeling. For instance, a large Southeast Asian retailer reported a performance-to-cost ratio improvement of over 70% after integrating Data and AI using the DLC platform.

As Tencent Cloud continues to assist over 100 clients in transforming their lakehouse architectures across various sectors, its position as a recognized vendor signifies the company's advancements in open standards and intelligent integration.
