Teleport earns Platinum 2026 Pinnacle Award for Zero Trust Solution of the Year

Teleport said it received a Platinum 2026 Pinnacle Award for Zero Trust Solution of the Year. The award recognized the company’s zero trust approach and how it applies identity controls to humans, machines, workloads, and AI agents.

Teleport described its Infrastructure Identity concept as a zero trust architecture intended to address identity fragmentation, static credentials, and static privileges. It said the architecture uses a unified identity layer and cryptographic backing tied to a hardware root of trust.

The company said Teleport removes static credentials such as API keys by using short-lived, just-in-time privileges. It also said the approach is designed to reduce blast radius and prevent lateral movement. Teleport said it built capabilities to support AI agents and added the Agentic Identity Framework for identity and access control for autonomous agents.

Teleport said it also introduced Beams, described as a trusted agentic runtime that is isolated and ephemeral, with built-in identity and governance controls. Ev Kontsevoy, CEO of Teleport, said, “The moment you introduce an AI agent into production infrastructure, your zero trust strategy has a gap — because most zero trust frameworks were built for users, maybe users and some machines,” and, “Teleport closes that gap — unifying identity for humans, machines, workloads, and AI agents.”
