SUSE Expands Cloud Elevate Program to Simplify Cloud Procurement on AWS and Google Cloud
SUSE updated its Cloud Elevate Program, a component of the SUSE One Partner Program, to simplify how customers buy enterprise software through cloud platforms. The update lets customers purchase SUSE mission-critical software directly through AWS and Google Cloud using existing cloud credits.
The change addresses procurement and consumption steps that can slow project starts. It also targets spend commitment management by allowing customers to fund infrastructure projects with pre-committed cloud credits. SUSE said the program uses SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) and SUSE Rancher Prime in this process.
For AWS, the program update adds “AWS Private Offers through Distributors,” where authorized distributors can manage custom pricing while billing stays under a single AWS account. For Google Cloud, the update adds “Google Cloud Marketplace Channel Private Offers,” enabling partners to push discounted, tailored terms into a customer’s Google Cloud console.
Hayley Wienszczak, global head of ecosystem programs, SUSE, said, “By expanding the Cloud Elevate Program, we are easing the procurement and consumption process that often slows down new projects,” said Hayley Wienszczak, global head of ecosystem programs, SUSE. “This is about choice: giving our customers and partners the flexibility to buy and run SUSE software wherever they do business, without the headache of traditional billing.” SUSE also stated the program resulted in “40% Faster Sales,” “66% Less Admin Time,” and “20 Days Earlier Deployment.”
