Sunwave communications expands presence in Middle East with MWC Doha participation

Sunwave Communications participated in MWC Doha 2025, an event convening operators and experts to discuss advancements in 5G and connectivity. The company highlighted its expanding activities in the Middle East region during the event.

Digital transformation and future connectivity developments in the Middle East have been recognized as areas of focus for several network providers. Sunwave has contributed to these developments by completing a 5G upgrade at Istanbul Expo Center, covering 11 halls with a distributed solution aimed at continuous coverage and stable performance.

The company showcased two new products at MWC Doha: the N3 Plus remote platform, which supports a frequency range of 600MHz to 4200MHz, is compatible with multiple operators, and is designed for energy efficiency in high-load conditions; and the nCELL-M, a small cell built on Qualcomm's FSM200 4nm platform featuring an embedded 5G core that supports major 5G bands and delivers 4T4R output for deployment stability and speed.

Additionally, Sunwave introduced a “Satellite + Private Network” integrated solution intended for remote locations, which is planned for presentation at MWC Barcelona 2026.

Roy Li, General Manager of Overseas Sales, said, “With the Middle East at a critical stage of digital transformation, the region is a key growth area for 5G innovation.” He added, “We will continue to address local needs and drive growth through technology innovation and collaboration.”

Sunwave's engagements demonstrate its focus on providing wireless solutions with energy-efficient and high-performance features to support the region's evolving digital infrastructure.
