SONiC highlights developments and collaborations at OCP EMEA Summit 2025
The Software for Open Networking in the Cloud (SONiC) project has announced its ongoing progress with the addition of four new members and a significant presence at the OCP EMEA Summit 2025, set for April 29–30 in Dublin. The new members are Arista Networks, Auradine, Nexthop.Artificial Intelligence (AI), and STORDIS, which reflects the growing global acceptance of SONiC and its open networking solutions.
Arista Networks joins as a Premier Member, while Auradine, Nexthop.AI, and STORDIS are welcomed as General Members. This expansion indicates a collaborative commitment to the advancement of open networking across various markets. “We're excited to welcome our newest members to the SONiC community,” said Arpit Joshipura, SVP/GM Networking, Edge & Internet of Things (IoT) at the Linux Foundation.
During the OCP EMEA Summit, SONiC will showcase ten live demonstrations, illustrating its applications in multicloud automation, data center disaggregation, telemetry, and edge deployments. Additionally, six member companies, including Broadcom and Google, will exhibit, emphasizing the collective support for the project.
STORDIS will Host the 2025 SONiC Open Insight Forum: Scaling Open Networking on April 29, aimed at discussing SONiC deployment strategies and community-driven development. The forum will gather experts in the field to share insights.
Attendees can visit the SONiC booth at the summit to view live demonstrations and engage with industry leaders.
