Snyk hosts roundtable on AI & cybersecurity policy at RSA Conference
Snyk will host a roundtable at Runtime Security Agent (RSA) Conference 2025 focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI), policy, and cybersecurity. The event, titled “The First 100 Days: How AI, Policy & Cybersecurity Collide Under the New Administration,” will feature leaders from both sectors discussing the impact of AI on cybersecurity priorities amid evolving federal actions.
The panel is scheduled for April 29, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM PT, at Sandbox Virtual Reality (VR) in San Francisco. Participants include Jen Easterly, former Director of CISA; Sumit Dhawan, CEO of Proofpoint; Nicole Perlroth, Cyber Author; Peter McKay, Snyk CEO; and moderator Secure Access Module (SAM) Sabin, a cybersecurity reporter at Axios.
The discussion will cover AI-generated threats, emerging regulations, and the pressures on developers to implement secure software practices. Attendees and media can register for the panel and find more information through the RSA Conference.
Peter McKay, CEO of Snyk, stated, “AI and cybersecurity are now top-of-agenda for the public and private sectors alike. With national security, innovation, and trust on the line, this discussion is designed to unpack how early government action and rapidly evolving technology are reshaping the secure software landscape.”
Snyk will also participate at RSA from April 28 to May 1, 2025, offering live demos of security solutions and educational sessions on safely adopting AI.
