Snyk and Factory partner to secure AI-native development.

Snyk Studio for Factory empowers Droids with automated vulnerability prevention and remediation.

BOSTON and SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 5, 2025 — Snyk, a company specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) security, partnered with Factory to enhance code security from inception. The new Snyk Studio for Factory integrates security intelligence directly into Factory's AI agents, known as Droids, enabling rapid software development while minimizing security debt.

The integration employs Snyk's approach called “Secure at Inception.” This methodology aims to secure code as developers focus on speed and impactful tasks. Security teams gain benefits from tailored remediation strategies addressing exploit maturity and reachability, driving attention to critical issues.

The partnership also builds on the recent expansion of Snyk Studio, offering customers a comprehensive solution for securing AI development with flexible deployment options that accommodate both developers and enterprise-wide setups.

Factory's Droids facilitate swift feature delivery, though they present challenges related to security. The integration ensures teams meet production demands while addressing long-standing security challenges that could hinder operations.

“We believe the future of software development is agentic, with AI agents handling increasingly complex tasks across the full development lifecycle,” said Matan Grinberg, CEO and Co-founder of Factory. “However, velocity without security is unsustainable for enterprise teams. Snyk's integration with Factory ensures our Droids build both fast and securely. By connecting Droids to Snyk's security intelligence, we're enabling organizations to scale their development with confidence.”

Entities using Droids will now have access to:

  • Real-time scanning to detect and address vulnerabilities proactively before deployment.
  • Contextual security guidance to prioritize critical issues for resolution.
  • Intelligent remediation across entire codebases to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Unified security policies to ensure consistent protection throughout development.
  • Automated governance to promote compliance in all development efforts.

This functionality capitalizes on Factory’s capability to manage complex workflows, allowing Droids to utilize Snyk for security directly within development environments.

“As AI agents like Factory's Droids become capable of autonomously generating and modifying code, security must evolve beyond manual methods,” said Manoj Nair, Chief Innovation Officer, Snyk. “Integrating Snyk's security intelligence with Factory's workflows enables development teams to progress quickly, reducing risk and avoiding technical debt.”

Snyk Studio for Factory is available to all Snyk customers.
