SK hynix recognized as a World's Most Ethical Companies honoree

SK hynix has been named as one of the 2025 World's Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere, marking a milestone as the first Korean semiconductor firm to receive this accolade. This recognition reflects the company's commitment to upholding high standards in business ethics, alongside initiatives that support business partners.

The acknowledgment is based on Ethisphere's Ethics Quotient®, which includes over 240 proof points regarding ethics and compliance practices, governance, and social and environmental impact. In total, 136 companies across 19 countries and 44 industries were recognized in 2025, with SK hynix being one of only four honorees in the semiconductor sector.

This recognition comes after the company has made sustained efforts toward establishing robust business ethics goals and implementing systematic evaluations. SK hynix aims to foster a trustworthy ethics management system that enhances corporate value for itself and its customers.

SK hynix has also been actively involved in furthering ethical practices through its workforce, encouraging members to participate in compliance commitment initiatives and surveys each year. Additionally, in 2023, the company initiated a program to enhance its ethical practices by sharing operational knowledge with suppliers, aiming to strengthen the overall supply chain's ethical framework.

“Congratulations to SK hynix for achieving recognition as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies,” said Erica Salmon Byrne, Chief Strategy Officer of Ethisphere. “Behind this honor is a true dedication to advancing business integrity.”

SK hynix Chief Executive Officer Kwak Noh-Jung expressed gratitude towards the team for their ongoing commitment to ethical management. He stated, “We will strive to meet the trust from our stakeholders and do our part to continue as an ethically responsible AI memory provider.”
