Sivers Semiconductors Signs $3M Agreement with Tachyon Networks for 28GHz Antenna Modules
Sivers Semiconductors AB finalized a mass-production purchase order valued at approximately $3 million with Tachyon Networks for 28GHz antenna modules. This agreement aims to support Tachyon's fixed wireless access solutions, leveraging Sivers' TRB02801 integrated circuit to enhance high-speed connectivity.
The TRB02801 beamforming transceiver is central to Tachyon's strategy, providing features such as 32-channel beamforming and signal gain optimization. This RFIC solution supports a full frequency range of 24.25-29.5 GHz, enabling data rates up to 5 Gbit/s for various urban and enterprise applications.
“Our partnership with Tachyon highlights Sivers' leadership in the fixed wireless access space,” said Harish Krishnaswamy, Managing Director of the Wireless Business Unit. Homomorphic Encryption (HE) noted that the collaboration enables greater accessibility and practicality of advanced wireless networks.
Shipments are scheduled to begin in Q1 2026, with expanded integration and deployment throughout the year. Further orders are anticipated in late 2026 as Sivers and Tachyon continue their collaboration to meet the demand for robust connectivity solutions.
