Sentra and Bold Security described a strategic technology partnership focused on combining AI Data Readiness with real-time endpoint enforcement. The companies said the approach was intended to provide context for decisions involving sensitive information used with AI.
According to the announcement, many organizations used tools to discover and classify sensitive data separately from controls that monitor activity and prevent exfiltration on endpoints. The companies said the separation left security teams without full context for risk-based decisions.
Sentra runs ephemeral scanners inside customers’ cloud, SaaS, and database environments, classifying without data leaving those environments. It also maps which people and AI systems can reach sensitive information. Bold runs AI locally on the endpoint to classify data by meaning, track changes and movement on the device, read user intent, and coach, redirect, request justification, or block actions in real time.
The joint solution described Sentra’s continuously updated data intelligence into Bold’s endpoint policies, including data classifications, sensitivity labels, ownership metadata, exposure risk, access permissions, and governance context. The companies said the approach was designed to help answer what data is being accessed and what it means, who or what AI system can access it, and whether an action should be allowed. “AI has fundamentally changed how organizations interact with their most valuable asset: their data. Visibility alone is no longer sufficient, and enforcement without context creates unnecessary friction. Our partnership with Bold combines AI Data Readiness with AI-native endpoint protection so organizations can confidently adopt AI while ensuring sensitive information remains protected wherever it is used.” Yair Cohen, Chief Product Officer, Sentra, said. “Every security decision is only as good as the intelligence behind it. By integrating Sentra’s continuous data intelligence into Bold’s real-time endpoint data protection engine, we enable organizations to make smarter security decisions that improve protection without ever blocking legitimate work or slowing employee productivity. This partnership represents the future of data security in the enterprise.” Nati Hazut, Co-Founder and CEO, Bold Security, said.
