SEALSQ Corp described how its SEALQuantum strategy progressed through Quobly’s work on silicon-based quantum processors and through new links to post-quantum security capabilities. The company tied the effort to moving quantum hardware activity from research work toward industrial deployment.

SEALSQ said SEALQuantum included its own capital allocation across quantum and post-quantum technologies, with investments focused on quantum computing, post-quantum cybersecurity, trusted semiconductors, photonics and secure communications. Quobly was presented as one of the flagship companies within the initiative.

SEALSQ said it invested as a lead in Quobly’s €115 million Series A financing, supporting research, development and industrialization of silicon-based quantum computing in Europe. It also cited a $5 million commercial agreement reached earlier in the year to integrate SEALSQ’s post-quantum security technologies into next-generation quantum computing platforms.

SEALSQ said Quobly later announced collaborations with TNO and Orange Quantum Systems to strengthen advanced characterization, metrology and automated testing capabilities for scalable quantum processors.
