Scalefusion launched Veltar Vulnerability Management, a capability intended to connect vulnerability detection with remediation inside the Scalefusion platform. The update targets the workflow gap between identifying vulnerabilities and taking patch management action on managed endpoints.
The company said vulnerability management often required security teams to identify vulnerabilities while IT teams managed the endpoints affected by them. It said moving from discovery to remediation could involve coordination across multiple tools and workflows.
Veltar Vulnerability Management connects vulnerability intelligence with endpoints managed in Scalefusion UEM. It supports vulnerability discovery across operating system components and third-party applications, and it assesses severity and exploitability to prioritize remediation. The capability uses signals including CVSS, EPSS, CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities data, and Device Risk score, and it enables remediation through Scalefusion UEM patch management.
ProMobi Technologies said the capability remediates affected Windows and macOS endpoints using patch management in Scalefusion UEM, and it does not require a separate vulnerability management agent or manual data transfer between tools. Sriram Kakarala, Chief Product Officer, Scalefusion, said, “Vulnerability detection is only useful when teams can act on what they find,” and added, “With Veltar Vulnerability Management, we are connecting vulnerability detection with endpoint management so security and IT teams can move from identifying exposure to remediation within a single workflow.” The company also said the capability extends Veltar’s security portfolio across web security, device trust, compliance, and secure access.
Scalefusion said Veltar Vulnerability Management is available for Windows and macOS endpoints.
