Recorded Future Named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Cyberthreat Intelligence Technologies

Recorded Future said it was recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cyberthreat Intelligence Technologies. The company linked the recognition to how cyberthreat intelligence is used for decisions across the security lifecycle.

Gartner evaluates vendors in the Magic Quadrant using Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. The press release said Gartner provides guidance for executives and their teams, and that the Magic Quadrant includes an assessment of vendors against those two criteria.

Recorded Future described its platform as providing coverage across adversaries, infrastructure, and targets through its Intelligence Graph, which the company said contains 200+ billion nodes of specialized threat data. The company also said the platform combines analytics with “breakthrough autonomous capabilities” and is intended to operationalize threats across security ecosystems.

In its statement, the company said Gartner does not endorse any vendor, product, or service depicted in its research, and does not advise technology users to select only vendors with the highest ratings. The release also stated that Recorded Future was acquired by Mastercard in 2024 and is headquartered in Boston.

“We believe this recognition as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cyberthreat Intelligence Technologies reflects both the strength of our vision and the impact we deliver for customers every day,” said Colin Mahony, CEO at Recorded Future. “In our view, organizations need intelligence that helps them move faster, prioritize with confidence, and take action before threats escalate, and we think this recognition underscores our commitment to delivering exactly that.”
