RADCOM secures contract to supply smart network visibility solution via Rakuten Symphony
RADCOM Ltd. secured a contract to provide its Smart Network Visibility Solution to a mobile operator via Rakuten Symphony. The solution functions as an intermediary layer between network infrastructure and the operator’s service assurance system, facilitating enhanced data collection and supporting network monitoring.
This solution aims to grant the operator comprehensive network visibility, which is vital for managing dynamic 5G networks that require timely subscriber analytics. Additionally, it offers flexible data retention and delivery options while targeting reductions in monitoring-related expenses.
Technically, the solution delivers real-time traffic insights, detailed metadata, and supports high-speed data analysis on a scalable platform. Features include traffic aggregation and filtering, Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) stripping, Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) tunneling and termination, Monitoring-as-Code (MaC) replacement, packet slicing, load balancing, session tracking, port labeling, header stripping, deduplication, data masking, capping, sampling, and precise time-stamping, all designed to maintain zero packet loss and operate with redundancy.
The contracted work involved deploying the Smart Network Visibility Solution within the operator’s infrastructure, integrating it to provide an end-to-end network view. The system is engineered to maintain performance and reliability in complex network environments to facilitate operational decision-making.
