QuSecure recognized as a sample vendor for crypto-agility in three Gartner Hype Cycle reports
QuSecure, Inc. said Gartner recognized it as a Sample Vendor for crypto-agility solutions across three Gartner Hype Cycle reports. The company connected the recognition to the transition toward post-quantum cryptography and cited deadlines tied to 2029 and 2030 as a factor in planning and execution. The announcement was dated July 31, 2026, in San Mateo, Calif.
QuSecure linked the three Hype Cycle placements to crypto-agility needs raised by cryptography timelines and regulatory requirements. It referenced “store now, decrypt later” risks and cited NIST and CNSA 2.0. The email also included a Gartner passage stating there is a 75% chance that nation-state actors will have a cryptographically relevant quantum computer around 2030.
In the materials, Gartner’s excerpt also described growth in cryptography usage and the need for scalable, efficient and agile management practices. The release stated crypto-agility involves cryptographic maintenance such as rotation of keys and certificates, migrations to safer alternatives, and urgent change after compromise. Gartner also referenced regulatory or mandate examples including PCI-DSS, DORA and CA/Browser Forum Ballot SC081.
QuSecure said its solutions include centralized cryptographic management, including automated cryptography discovery and cryptographic inventory management, along with PQC. It stated they are built on NIST PQC algorithms and provide encryption using PQC ciphers for network infrastructure, nodes, and applications. Rebecca Krauthamer, QuSecure CEO and Co-Founder, said: “Gartner’s recognition of QuSecure in my view reflects the excellence and trust the team has built in the industry over the past seven years,” and added, “As timelines for quantum-safe adoption shrink to 2029 and 2030 for organizations across the world, the crypto-agility migration has become core to annual operating plans.”
