Nuix was at Sibos 2026 in Miami, where it described how its Nuix Neo platform supports work involving complex and unstructured evidence. The company’s focus centered on making it easier to connect and review information that conventional tools often leave difficult to use.
In the materials shared at the event, Nuix said up to 90% of enterprise data is unstructured, including emails, documents, chat, counterparty data, transaction records, case files, and voice. It also linked this issue to financial investigations that require evidence building and defensible support for prosecution.
Nuix Neo was described as an integrated, AI-enabled data intelligence platform with a patented data processing engine. The platform was stated to extract information from complex data by processing over 1,000 file types at a binary level, use deterministic natural language processing for classification and risk scoring, and provide semantic search across languages.
Nuix said the workflow filters, minimizes, curates, and prioritizes data to reduce manual review, and that it records every action at the point of processing rather than reconstructed later. The company also said it integrated decision intelligence and graph analytics capabilities from its acquisition of Linkurious to help teams visualize relationships across accounts, people, organizations, and transactions. “AI is only as good as the data beneath it, and in complex financial crime investigations seeing and connecting all evidence is critical,” said Chris Stephenson, Head of Industry Advocacy at Nuix. Nuix further stated that Nuix Neo’s responsible AI architecture incorporates deterministic scoring, and that it can connect approved large language models through BYO-AI while maintaining audit trails.
