Nomad eSIM reports growth in global connectivity

Nomad eSIM, a business line of LotusFlare, has reported growth since its launch in 2021 by providing global connectivity to travelers across more than 200 destinations. The service is designed to help users avoid high roaming charges by activating eSIMs quickly and offers competitive pricing.

Users note savings of up to 70% compared to traditional roaming, contributing to a 4.8-star rating on the Apple App Store and promoting word-of-mouth referrals. In response to growing consumer and business needs, Nomad introduced the Nomad Enterprise eSIM portal in 2024. This platform allows businesses to manage data connectivity for employees across various sectors, including finance, manufacturing, and travel.

Nomad's eSIMfx service enables brands such as online travel agencies and airlines to integrate eSIM technology with minimal setup through APIs or no-code solutions. This integration offers seamless connectivity options to customers, helping brands enhance their service offerings and create new revenue opportunities.

Shern Ng, Head of Product at Nomad, noted, “Global eSIM connectivity is no longer a nice-to-have; it's a necessity to modern businesses.” Nomad aims to support both consumer and Enterprise markets, with plans to launch additional features aimed at enhancing global connectivity in 2025.
