Nokia secured high scores in the report due to its extensive 5G Standalone (SA) core deals, having established relationships with 125 Communications Service Providers (CSPs) globally. The company confirmed that 54 of these customers launched live services as of Q2 2025.

Roberto Kompany, Principal Analyst at Omdia, stated, “Nokia has demonstrated exceptional capabilities across its core networks portfolio, particularly in areas that are crucial for CSPs’ future success.” This recognition corroborates Nokia's strategy in cloud-native technologies and automation, enhancing its market position.

Customers transitioning to Nokia include Ooredoo Qatar and Telefónica Spain, illustrating increasing demand for its 5G solutions. Nokia's core network offerings encompass cloud-native architectures, enabling operators to manage their 2G through 5G and Integrated Maritime Surveillance (IMS) services efficiently.
