Nokia launches DAC Marketplace for industrial enterprises
Nokia has introduced the Discretionary Access Control (DAC) Marketplace, a platform designed for industrial enterprises to easily access various digital solutions, including offerings from Nokia and third-party merchants. This initiative aims to facilitate the integration of Industry 4.0 solutions into Nokia's infrastructure.
The DAC Marketplace features a diverse array of industrial products that customers and partners can deploy for their private wireless networks. It includes solutions from new merchants such as Accton Technology Corporation, Aprecomm, Environment Provisioning Script (EPS) Global, Etra Telecom, Exloc, InfiniG, and RugGear.
According to Stephan Litjens, Vice President of Enterprise Campus Edge Solutions at Nokia, the marketplace simplifies the process for customers to access both Nokia and third-party solutions that support their digital transformation efforts. The platform also adjusts offerings based on local regulations and provides an efficient ordering process, enhancing visibility for partners.
Aprecomm's CEO, Pramod Gummaraj, expressed enthusiasm about being part of the DAC Marketplace, highlighting the advanced network analytics and monitoring tools Aprecomm provides, designed to streamline industrial networks.
RugGear’s CEO, Maverick Chen, noted the value of their durable devices offered through the marketplace, aimed at supporting robust communication in challenging environments.
Nokia plans to exhibit the DAC Marketplace at Hannover Messe 2025, showcasing its features and benefits to potential clients and partners.
