NetApp storage now validated for NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD and Cloud Partners

NetApp has announced validation for its enterprise storage systems in collaboration with NVIDIA, specifically targeting Artificial Intelligence (AI) environments. This development allows customers to utilize validated configurations for training and inferencing, thereby enhancing data management for AI-driven applications.

Validated configurations now available include support for NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD and NVIDIA Cloud Partners. The integration aims to provide customers with robust data management capabilities required for building AI infrastructures.

Jonsi Stefansson, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at NetApp, emphasized the longstanding partnership between NetApp and NVIDIA, serving numerous customers in AI model training and inferencing. “NetApp is committed to helping our customers navigate the era of intelligence by taking control of their data without silos,” said Stefansson.

According to Charlie Boyle, Vice President, DGX Platforms at NVIDIA, the integration enables a high-performance environment for deploying AI applications. Businesses are encouraged to reevaluate their data management strategies to adapt to demands for data-driven insights.

NetApp’s updates also involve its AFF A90 storage systems, now validated for AI applications, highlighting its intent to support scalable AI infrastructure. The company will showcase its AI innovations at NVIDIA GTC 2025 in San Jose.
