Legit Security's AI-native ASPM platform updates with prevention dashboard

Legit Security introduces a risk prevention dashboard for its AI-native application security posture management (ASPM) platform, aimed at mitigating software vulnerabilities prior to deployment.

The dashboard enhances companies' efforts to stop potential issues from entering their software releases. This preventive approach allows organizations to expedite the introduction of new software capabilities while minimizing the time developers spend on later-stage vulnerability fixes.

As software development accelerates, often with Artificial Intelligence (AI) support, security considerations can hinder progress. Many engineering teams face challenges if they lack practices such as code reviews, threat modeling, or effective vulnerability scanning during development.

Legit's dashboard addresses these concerns by facilitating the identification of gaps in security measures, thereby saving time and costs associated with rectifying issues identified post-deployment. The platform enables teams to pinpoint missing guardrails, assess their potential impact, and establish secure development policies.

Additionally, Legit promotes secure development practices by integrating gamification and automation to ensure compliance. This encourages teams to adopt better security protocols right from the software design phase.

Utilizing AI-driven insights, security teams can prioritize the resolution of high-risk vulnerabilities more efficiently, supporting development teams in focusing on critical security issues.

The release of the prevention dashboard follows previous updates to the ASPM platform, including enhancements for root cause remediation and data management, which further support organizations in addressing application security risks comprehensively.

Liav Caspi, co-founder and chief technology officer of Legit Security, emphasized, “With our newest dashboard, we are not only helping our customers remediate the vulnerabilities they find but also stop them from happening in the first place.” He noted the necessity of equipping developers with appropriate tools and information to prevent issues before they arise.

Legit's latest addition helps organizations identify areas where vulnerabilities may occur and apply preventive measures effectively within their development workflows.
