Kyndryl launches Kyndryl Intelligent Recovery Service
Kyndryl launched Kyndryl Intelligent Recovery Service (KIRS), a cloud-based offering intended to help organizations recover from cyber incidents and operational disruptions and to support business continuity and regulatory compliance.
The company described KIRS as integrated with its Bridge platform and as enabling recovery at scale across customer IT estates, with an emphasis on accelerating restoration of critical systems and maintaining compliance requirements.
KIRS provided automated recovery workflows and comprehensive visibility across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, and it delivered unified dashboards that centralized recovery progress and compliance metrics; the service supported cloud platforms, containerized workloads and databases.
The service supplied real-time insight into recovery objectives, system health and resiliency posture to support decision making and ongoing compliance, and it addressed recovery challenges across retail, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing and energy.
“Organizations face a dual cyber resilience challenge: recovering from disruptions faster than ever while navigating an increasingly complex regulatory landscape,” said Paul Savill, Global Practice Leader, Cyber Security and Resiliency, Network and Edge, Kyndryl. “Kyndryl Intelligent Recovery Service helps organizations close that gap by automating recovery workflows and providing real-time visibility. Through this enhanced capability, we are enabling our customers to quickly restore critical operations, manage risk proactively and maintain compliance without disruption.”
