Itential Introduces FlowAI for Agentic Orchestration in Infrastructure

Itential introduced FlowAI, a new component of its Itential Platform designed for agentic orchestration in infrastructure operations. FlowAI allows enterprises to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents and reasoning systems into controlled automation, enhancing management across hybrid environments.

Currently available in Private Customer Preview, FlowAI offers capabilities for organizations to construct, connect, and deploy intelligent agents within hybrid infrastructures. The platform integrates security, governance, and execution mechanisms, supported by Itential Model Context Protocol (MCP) technology, to facilitate accountable orchestration.

Itential emphasized that FlowAI transitions enterprises from traditional automation methods to intelligent orchestration, where AI reasoning collaborates with deterministic execution processes. “Enterprises are ready to move beyond predefined workflows toward systems that can think, plan, and act responsibly,” said Peter Syrgada, Chief Architect at Itential.

As companies adopt AI to handle complex networks, FlowAI addresses the need for secure intelligence, allowing teams to manage workflows through native integrations. It combines deterministic control with flexible capabilities, enabling a straightforward interface for orchestrating tasks.

FlowAI comprises a series of components including the FlowAgent Builder for creating role-specific agents, intelligent FlowAgents that operate safely, and FlowMCP Gateway, which facilitates integration of external infrastructure intelligence. The FlowMCP Server enhances centralized management across multiple MCP instances, ensuring scalable, secure connections.

Itential’s agentic orchestration framework aims to ensure that all activities are monitored under its enterprise control plane, promoting accountability in automation. As part of its rollout, Itential is currently offering early access to select enterprise customers through its Private Customer Preview Program.

Itential displayed the FlowAI capabilities live at the Network Automation Forum’s AutoCon 4 event in Austin, TX, indicating the company's commitment to integrating AI into network and infrastructure management.
