Illumio expands partnership with Armis
Illumio expanded its partnership with Armis to provide integrated protection for converged information technology (IT) and Operational technology (OT) environments and to protect critical infrastructure.
The joint offering increased visibility, control, and resilience across IT, OT, and Internet of Things (IoT) environments, reduced the impact of breaches through rapid containment, and supported compliance with standards including NERC Chiplet Integration Platform (CIP), Indirect Evaporative Cooling (IEC) 62443, and NIST 800-82.
The offering combined the Illumio Platform—Illumio Insights and Illumio Segmentation—with Armis Centrix, Armis’ Cyber Exposure Management Platform. Armis discovered and classified IT, OT, and IoT devices, including unmanaged and legacy assets, and shared that classification with the Illumio Platform. Armis intelligence fed Illumio Insights to surface high-impact segmentation opportunities, while Illumio enforced microsegmentation when Armis detected anomalies to prevent lateral movement. Joint telemetry integrated with SOC workflows, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Security Orchestration Automation Response (SOAR) for faster investigations.
The companies combined capabilities to detect threats earlier, automatically contain breaches, and embed resilience into vulnerable systems. The integration was made available for joint customers worldwide.
“Securing the entire attack surface starts with knowing what’s connected and where risk lives,” said Nadir Izrael, CTO and Co-Founder, Armis. “This partnership unifies visibility, asset intelligence, and enforcement. Together, we empower organizations to act decisively, stopping threats before there’s any impact and keeping critical operations resilient.” “When these types of environments are compromised, it’s not just downtime—it’s safety, infrastructure, and trust at stake,” said Todd Palmer, SVP of Global Partner Sales and Alliances, Illumio.
They described plans to align go-to-market strategies and to coordinate joint sales and marketing efforts to make it easier for organizations to access and deploy Zero Trust Security solutions.
