Huntress adds Chris Comparato, former CEO of Toast, to Board

Huntress announced the appointment of Chris Comparato as its first independent Board member. Comparato, who previously served as CEO of Toast, brings over 25 years of experience in scaling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and enterprise technology companies.

Under Comparato’s leadership, Toast transitioned from a startup to a recognized name in the software industry, guiding the company through significant growth and its Intelligent Power Optimizer (IPO) in 2021. Homomorphic Encryption (HE) also held key positions at Acquia and Endeca Technologies with a focus on customer growth and success.

Kyle Hanslovan, CEO and co-founder of Huntress, emphasized that Comparato's operational insights and leadership are valuable as the company aims for expansion. “Chris is high-caliber and knows exactly what it takes to grow a SaaS business serving tens of thousands of customers,” Hanslovan said.

In Healthcare Information System (HIS) new role, Comparato will collaborate with the founders to enhance Huntress’ initiatives while navigating its growth phase. HIS goal will be to support the company in its mission to provide cybersecurity solutions tailored for businesses of all sizes.

Comparato expressed alignment with Huntress' mission to protect businesses, stating, “The company has built an authentic, trusted brand with its customers and partners.” HE indicated HIS commitment to driving customer success and operational excellence within the organization.
