Huawei introduces devices at MWC 2026

Huawei presented a wide range of consumer devices at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on March 2, 2026, showing updates across smartphones, tablets, wearables, earbuds and Process Control System (PCS) to outline its product lineup for the year.

At the event, Huawei framed HarmonyOS-powered devices as offering PC-level productivity and demonstrated full-featured office software including Workload Placement Strategy (WPS) alongside HUAWEI Notes, while introducing the 8.8-inch HUAWEI MatePad Mini as a compact tablet option.

Demonstrations included the PaperMatte Display for a paper-like writing and painting experience described as providing clear, eye-comfort viewing; Huawei presented Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities in the Mate 80 series and released detailed videos showing the engineering of foldable models such as the Mate X7, and it showcased XMAGE imaging and the Mate 80 Pro's video capture with super high dynamic range, accurate color reproduction, telephoto macro, and slow-motion functions.

Exhibition areas labeled Your Intelligent World, Energize Your Life, and Explore Yourself offered hands-on testing: the Energize Your Life area displayed HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series cycling metrics, the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 with Intelligent Marathon Mode for training and pacing, and the HUAWEI WATCH 5 and WATCH D2 with monitoring and reminder features; the Explore Yourself area presented the GoPaint app for mobile artistry.

Huawei said it remained committed to delivering products and all-scenario experiences in 2026.
