Huawei Government Public Services Digitalization BU launches global intelligent public service solution

Huawei Government Public Services Digitalization (GPSD) BU held a series of events at MWC Barcelona 2026 and introduced the Global Intelligent Public Service Solution to accelerate intelligent transformation of public services and city governance.

GPSD convened the Global AI+ Public Service Summit, a National Foundation Model Roundtable, and open speeches to discuss intelligent development with global customers and partners; at the roundtable, over 20 government and industry experts from Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa participated.

The solution was described as built on a “1 digital foundation + 1 intelligent platform + N industry applications” architecture and included capabilities to quickly orchestrate service items, integrate capabilities, streamline processes, support “Chat-to-Process” interaction, enable smart decision-making, and provide efficient handling; the roundtable covered foundation model application, Artificial Intelligence (AI) infrastructure construction, and AI Dual Connectivity (DC) construction.

During the events, Huawei shared experience in foundation model application and AI infrastructure construction and engaged with participants to explore top-level design and localized implementation paths for intelligent transformation of public services and city governance.

Jason Slater said, “AI+ drives public services forward. Building an effective digital government is not just about deploying technology, but about building inclusive, citizen-centered and interoperable system.” Chomparee Chompurat said, “Thailand is accelerating its transition to an AI-enabled intelligent government by leveraging robust 'Cloud First' infrastructure, responsible AI integration, and global public-private partnerships to deliver secure, citizen-centric services and position the nation as a trusted ASEAN digital hub.”

Huawei said it will continue to deeply cultivate the digital technology foundation and strengthen collaborative synergy with partners to jointly empower the onset of full-scale intelligence for global public services and city governance.
