Highway introduces Load Lock+ and Exclusion Intel features for freight brokers

Highway has introduced Load Lock+ and Exclusion Intel, expanding its platform with features that enhance load-level protection, real-time tracking, and compliance for freight brokers.

Load Lock+ automates tracking through ELD-powered technology, ensuring real-time visibility and minimizing risks. Key features include automated vehicle assignment, enhanced insights into unverified vehicles, and dynamic geolocation tracking.

Jordan Graft, CEO of Highway, emphasized the importance of visibility in reducing fraud, stating, “At Highway, visibility means verification—meaning, we give brokers proof before ever booking a load.” A recent example highlights Load Lock+ notifying KCH Transportation of a truck incorrectly assigned to a pick-up location, enabling them to act swiftly to mitigate a potential theft.

Exclusion Intel reveals crucial exclusions in a carrier's insurance policy, allowing brokers to identify coverage gaps, ensure compliance, and reduce litigation risks. By categorizing exclusions, Highway aims to support brokers in making informed decisions while meeting shipper requirements.

With these updates, Highway continues its mission to enhance transparency and security in freight brokerage, empowering brokers with the insights necessary for confident operations.
