Harmonic plans to showcase fiber broadband innovations at Network X 2026, including a fiber portfolio designed for varied deployment needs and software capabilities for network operations and monitoring. The company’s update focuses on how operators manage multi-vendor fiber environments and support ongoing service management.

According to the release, Harmonic’s fiber portfolio includes OLT form factors intended for high-density and remote deployments and is positioned to help operators manage space, power and cooling needs while taking fiber to more locations. The company also described a shift toward proactive network operations by correlating signals across network and operational systems.

Harmonic said its fiber portfolio runs on its cOS software and, when combined with cOS SensAI, Recon and cOS Loop, is designed to enable faster deployment and earlier resolution of network issues. The release also described cOS SensAI as a vendor-agnostic intelligence fabric that gathers data from disparate systems into a coherent information layer and correlates signals to explain diagnoses and suggest remediation.

At Network X, Harmonic said it will display the Pier-2 50G PON OLT shelf, Oyster+ node housing, Pearl-1XL R-OLT and the Fin SFP-based OLT family, along with an Open ONT approach intended to let operators choose customer premises equipment that fits their network requirements. The company also described Recon as pairing in-network monitoring hardware and handheld diagnostic tools with cloud-based software for real-time visibility, and said cOS Loop will automate provisioning and simplify remote diagnostics and subscriber management across multi-vendor PON networks. “Operators want to build fiber without breaking the business case, and run it with confidence once it's live,” said Stefan Meier, Vice President of Sales, Europe, at Harmonic. “At Network X we will show an expanding fiber portfolio backed by a growing number of third-party interoperated ONTs. With Harmonic solutions, operators broaden their fiber options from dense urban deployments to remote sites and leverage an intelligence layer that works across every vendor in the network.
