Summary
Allot Ltd. has added capabilities to NetworkSecure that help telcos protect SIM-enabled IoT devices used by their business customers across 4G and 5G networks, a task that conventional tools often cannot handle on those devices.
Businesses connect cameras, sensors, meters, and industrial equipment. Because many of these units are constrained or unmanaged, they cannot depend on conventional endpoint security software. Artificial intelligence now gives attackers faster and larger-scale ways to locate weaknesses and build exploits. In May 2026, Google Threat Intelligence Group reported an AI-developed zero-day exploit designed for mass exploitation, and it observed adversaries using AI in vulnerability research across technologies, including embedded systems.
Connected operational equipment already appears as a target. In October 2026, hundreds of supermarkets in France reported a cyberattack that disrupted refrigeration systems, and similar incidents were later reported in other European countries. In early November, a refrigeration supplier to France's national blood service reported that freezer temperature settings had been changed remotely. Such equipment is often managed remotely and rarely treated as a security asset.
NetworkSecure is built into the network itself and draws on Allot's AI-driven Deep Network Intelligence. It enforces firewall and access policies that block malicious and unauthorized traffic before that traffic reaches the device, and it does so without security software installed on each protected device.
For telcos, the offering extends connectivity value beyond the SIM and data plan by enabling delivery of cybersecurity services to business customers. Visibility, threat detection, and policy enforcement are combined with connectivity. NetworkSecure also sits within a broader Allot cybersecurity architecture for service providers. Unified management lets telcos co-deploy and centrally manage security services across different customer segments, with provisioning, control, reporting, and analytics supporting delivery as Security-as-a-Service.
“By applying AI-driven intelligence and enforcement inside the network, Allot helps telcos protect and control the IoT environments of their business customers while turning security into a valuable service and a new revenue opportunity,” said Angel Fernandez, VP Product Strategy at Allot. The statements about future results in this release are subject to risks and uncertainties, and the company does not undertake to update them.
